A little bit about Bengaluru.

All my friends know that I never have a good answer to the question: “Where are you from?”. However, they also know that there’s one place I consider myself the most from: Bengaluru.

Bengaluru is (in my non-biased opinion) the greatest city in not only India, but also the world. It’s a vibrant, bustling metropolis in South India that has an amazing food scene, friendly people and THE BEST weather in India.

I’ve had some of the best experiences of my life in Bengaluru and it’s the reason I am who I am. I can’t wait to share namma ooru (my city) with all of you!

Information

Where will the wedding events be held?

The wedding will be held at Royalton Leisure, in Bangaluru, India. You can find the location HERE. Schedule of events will be provided HERE.

How do I get to Bengaluru?

Bengaluru International Airport (BLR) is a well connected airport located about 50km from the wedding venue. Getting to BLR from the United States is a quick connection via Europe or the Middle East. For our San Francisco friends, there’s also a direct Air India flight from SFO if you’re feeling adventurous.

What about Visas?

Unless you have an OCI or Indian Passport you will need a visa to visit India.
We recommend the e-visa for India, you can find more information at this Indian government website. We applied for Karolina’s visa last year and it was a straight forward process. However, we encourage you to get the process started soon!

What about accommodation?

We will be providing accommodation for your party from the night of January 23rd to the morning of January 26th. More details to follow later this year.

What about things to do?

There’s a lot to do in and around Bengaluru! We will be adding more information here in the coming days, but we encourage you to reach out with any specific questions!

If I am traveling internationally, when should I plan to arrive/leave?

If you are traveling internationally, we recommend arriving in Bangaluru by the evening of Friday, January 23 at the latest and plan to stay in Bangaluru until at least Monday, January 26. The week before the wedding is MLK Jr Day in the USA, so if you have the opportunity, we recommend you travel around India the week before the wedding to take advantage of your day off.
